RC Dillibazar jointly with Rotary Clubs of Kasthamandap, Rajdhani, Kathmandy North East and Pashupati jointly organized a meeting on 25th of May in Kathmandu. The chief guest of the function was DG Rtn Swapan Mokherji. Other guests included DS Rtn Shiba Bhakta Rajbhandari and AG Rtn Santosh Sharma. In the joint meeting all the presidents of five host clubs presented in brief the activities carried out by their respective clubs. DG Rtn Swapan Mokherji appreciated very much the performance of all five clubs and cited especially the training programs organized for empowering youth. He requested the club members to do even more for consolidating TRF for helping the sufferers.

RC Dillibazar organized a reproductive health camp jointly with Jagaran Nepal on Saturday 13th of May 2006 at Jorpati and Nagarkot VDCs of Bhaktapur districts. Altogether 92 rural women were checked and 50 of them have been found STD whereas 70 of them had problems with the use of contraceptives. Dr. Sarita Pandey and Subhas Regmi had checked the patients. Earlier Ms. Sumita Chhatkuli who is MSc in Nursing had given two hours of awareness class on reproductive health to the rural women come to attend the camp. Rtn Sharmila Karki who is also chairman of Jagaran Nepal coordinated the program.

RC Dillibazar organized a general and dental health camp at Mari Ward School Luvu, Patan on Saturday 20th of May 2006. Altogether 364 patients were checked their teeth and general health condition. 178 patients were of dental problem and 186 were of general health problems. Dr. Pramod Rawal, Dr. Dinseh Rawal, Dr. Deepak Pandey and Dr. Raj Bhadari offered their services. The program was coordinated by PP Rtn Dr. Pitambar Rawal, and participated in by CS Rtn Binod Kajee Shrestha.and Rtn Gehehdra B Bajracharya. Rtn Bishnu Subedi from RC Kathmandu Club has distributed medical equipments for the camp.

President of RC Dillibazar adressing the launching ceremony of matching grant program at Rotary Club Setagaya Tokyo Japan on 16th of May 2006. With this project a sum or US$11500/- will be spent for the literacy program and skill training for the women of eight remote areas of Lalitpur, Rupendehi and Kapilvastu. RC Dillibazar and National Resource Center for Non formal education will jointly implement the program. The class will be of six month and 240 illiterate rural women will be benfitted from the program

On Wednesday 10th of May, President of RC Dillibazar Rtb Surendra Dhakal handed over a cheque of Rs.5000/- to Mr. Bharat Dhungana of Janabhawana Primary School of Dhading to help locals from Dhading construct a New School Building at Sirabesi Dhading.

Urban women from Pakanajol and Sorhakhutte are taking part in the Second Vermi Compost Training Organized by Rotary Club of Dillibazar on Saturday 29th of April 2006. 30 urban women benefitted from the training. Dr. Ananda Shova Tuladhar trained the women.

President of RC Dillibazar Rtn Surendra Dhakal is handing over a cheque of Rs. 5000/- in its regular meeting of March 22 2006 to Mr. Bishnu K Shrestha of Shree Pragatisil Yuva Club Ramechhap as donation to construct community clinic at remote village in Ramechhap.

Making Opening Speech as Chief Guest at 2nd Inter Rotary Club Table Tennis Tournament organized by RC Dillibazar, Chief Coordinator Rtn Dr. Tika Man Vaidya. The program was held on March 18 2006. RC Dillibazar won all the titles under Mens Single, Mens Double and Mixed Double. 19 players from Rotary Clubs of Kathmandu Valley took part in the Tournament.
